🎬 A Metaphorical Music Video

The official music video, released on YouTube in September 2011, offers a striking metaphor about music addiction:

• The Plot: A teenage boy in conflict with his parents buys a USB flash drive branded with "Laidback Luke" from a stranger on a street corner.
• The Metaphor: When he plugs the drive in and listens to the music through his headphones, he enters a state of delirium and ecstasy. His parents step in to confiscate the drive, which is filmed to resemble illegal drugs.
• The Conclusion: Experiencing withdrawal, the boy goes back to the dealer but has no money left. Crying in the middle of the road, he hears Laidback Luke's music echoing in the distance and follows the sound to a nightclub. He gets in for free and finds his high once again through the DJ's music. The video is interspersed with shots of Example performing the song.
