Inter Secures Colombia's Winger Cuadrado with a One-Year Contract
Inter Milan announced on Wednesday that they have secured the signature of Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado on a one-year contract. The 35-year-old has joined Inter after an impressive eight-year stint with Juventus, which came to an end in June when his contract expired.
In a statement, Inter described Cuadrado as a player with exceptional technique, versatility, and reliability, making him fully prepared for this new adventure with the Nerazzurri.
Cuadrado initially joined Juventus on loan from Chelsea in 2015, later making the move permanent two years later. During his time at Juventus, he played a key role in the team's success, contributing to five Serie A titles, four Italian Cups, and two Super Cups. He also had a successful spell in England, winning the Premier League and the League Cup.
His talent was not limited to club football alone. In the 2020-2021 Champions League and the 2014 World Cup, Cuadrado topped the charts for providing the highest number of assists.
On the international stage, Cuadrado has represented his country in 115 matches, placing him second in appearances, only behind goalkeeper David Ospina, who has 127 caps.
