Sticky hot honey meatballs

Ingredients :
500g pork mince
25g (½ cup) panko breadcrumbs
2 green shallots, finely chopped, plus extra, cut into thin strips, to serve
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tbsp white sesame seeds, plus extra, to serve
1 egg
2 tbsp sriracha chilli sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
125ml (1⁄2 cup) honey
2 tbsp light soy sauce
250g qukes (baby cucumbers), chopped
Steamed white rice, to serve
Method Steps :
Place the pork, panko, shallot, garlic, sesame seeds, egg and half of the sriracha in a bowl. Use clean hands to mix until well combined. Roll heaped tablespoonfuls into 20 meatballs.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the meatballs, turning frequently, for 10 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Add the honey, soy sauce and remaining sriracha to the pan. Cook, tossing the meatballs, for 5 minutes or until well coated and the sauce has thickened slightly. Divide the sticky meatballs among serving bowls. Top with quke, extra shallot and sesame seeds. Serve with steamed rice.
